Oh my followers, commenters, and friends! Sorry for neglecting you. My life has just been SO busy busy busy. Lots of things have happened in the past week! As I type this, I am in Vernon, B.C. I'm visiting cousins, and am feeling full of free-spiritedness and fun.

I just wanted to let you all know that I am still alive and well. Life is so beautiful right now. I'm really trying to savor this youth and life of mine. I have many outfit photographs to share, and I apologize for not finding the time to do so. As soon as I find an hour, I will post my photo's and reply to all of my messages. Thank you for being patient, and so heavenly kind! I look forward to talking again, and getting back to the blogosphere...

"Rethink"

On a typical day, sending a comment through typical blogger, I tend to be annoyed by the required "word verification", BUT today was no typical day. As I was leaving a comment for the beautiful Toni, the word verification forced me into typing "rethink" ... And well, I've been doing just that, rethinking...

Lately, I've been spending nights, alone in my head, reflecting, and refining my thought patterns. I have grown tired of being afraid. I am worn out with the beauty of the most trivial things. I am for the, first time, in my life, ready. I am ready for tomorrow. I am ready for the unknown, and the scary. I am ready to hold onto this new found hope. I don't know about you, or her, or him, but, I do know about me. I do know that I have finally found who I am. Some people wait years to find their selves, I mean their whole inner self. But here I am! 16 years young, and I'm almost certain of whats behind the reflection in the mirror.

At 16, I've developed the virtue of forgiveness. I'm typically, very unforgiving, but so many days and nights spent alone, empty, with my own thoughts have helped me to realize that I gain nothing from grudges, I just end up losing everything, including my own sanity. With my forgiveness evolving, I have decided to rekindle past worthy friendships. Although, I am moving.. I had decided to go for dinner with the past. In doing so, I have learned so much about the human spirit... People are willing to forgive. People are willing to forget, and generally people are good.

On a fashion note, I love DENIM. I am very interested and fascinated about all things denim. Jumpsuits, skirts, jackets, jeans. If you were to peak into my wardrobe, you'd never guess of my love for denim.. but... that's only because I haven't found the perfect denim pieces. I always find the most beautiful denim online through online shopping, and blogging. I have visions of what kind of denim I'd like, but yet have the money to afford it, or, I haven't seen any in stores. One day, I'll have a vast collection of denim pieces. And, I'll be very happy.

friday the thirteenth

Hi everyone! Wow! I was just reading through all of the beautiful comments I received on my last post. I wish I had the time to chat, but I'm exhausted and I don't want my sore throat to worsen. So, today, I awoke to find a sore throat, and aching body. Why can't my immune system be strong and fight off sickness?(Like it should).. My immune system is always in a battle, a battle that never wins. Why am I always sick? I'm trying to tell myself that it's just the winter blues. Maybe it is, "just the winter blues".. Now, not only does my mind need spring and summer but so does my body. Look at how cold I am in these photos! So cold you can see my breath. Don't be fooled when you see the sun shining.. There is so much frost in the air, you might as well stay inside and imagine that the sun is creating heat, and the heat is melting all of the unwanted snow. If the smell of spring is in the air, I'll pick a flower, and I'll let you know.

I am SOOO happy to be receiving a $50 gift card for Forever 21 courtesy of Weardrobe's latest contest. I never anticipated to win! I cannot believe it! I really thought I'd have to use the gift card online, but my mom delighted me when she said she was willing to take me to the Edmonton forever 21 on the way to Calgary. I feel so lucky!! Hey-o! I am thrilled! I am going to indulge in lots of carrot cupcakes to celebrate hitting the "50" followers mark. I feel so happy, proud, and I'm excited for the future! Maybe one day we can hit that "100" mark, and even better, maybe one day we can celebrate T O G E T H E R!

So, to you, my followers, and my friends. I thank you for the love, and warmth, and kindness. Sometimes, I get lonely, and it helps to know that no matter where you are in the world, there are people who have passion and love for you. You've helped me to grow not only as a personal stylist, but as a human being. This post, and every post, is for you. Here, An outfit (fit) for warmer weather, but I wore it anyways. The blouse is H&M, and so is the zipper body con skirt. I see the blouse being worn with vintage levi cut offs, and completed with a pair of wedges or my (future) keds. And as for the shoes being worn in these photographs, they are my beloved zara boots, a.k.a my first "real" pair of shoes.

And Again, we took a plethora of pictures! I always have such a hard time deciding which ones to finally post... I'll learn, someday, to take less photo's!

It's kind of like when you look at yourself in the mirror and you say your name. And it gets to a point where none of it seems real.

Hi Thursday! I'm hoping the sun shines warmer where you are. I hate saying that my life is a roller coaster because I find roller coasters to be merry, and exciting. My life is not merry, nor is it exciting. The only similarity my life has to a roller coaster is the ups and downs of the track. My days consist of wild laughter, and hopeless heart break. I wish I could just stay happy. Is this really too much to ask for?

The minute I connect with someone, they let me down. I wish I was afraid of being too close. If I was afraid, then I would close my external self, and if I could close my external self, than my internal self would no longer get hurt. With friends like this, who needs enemies?

On a more promising note, I've been challenging myself to work out every night. So far, I'm on a run(no pun intended). I've burnt 510 calories for the past three nights! I hope I keep this up! I feel healthy and full of energy for once! Hope you had a better day!
