Dream catch me.

I have lots to accomplish today! I have boxes, and boxes, and boxes of belongings to temporarily pack away. I think I mentioned to chictopia that I loved packing, but I'm starting to rethink my words.

The weather has been so nice! too nice, in fact, it was hard to take these pictures because the sun was shining so brightly. I would never ever wish away the sun. Actually, that reminds me, one time I did wish away the sun, but that was because I enjoyed the sun too much without sun screen and looked and felt like a lobster. Being burnt is a horrible experience, I wouldn't wish it upon anyone, not even the mean-spirited ex lovers that won't leave you alone.

I'm always a day late on posts, but that doesn't stop me! These pictures are from last night. This post is the budding debut of two things.. My vintage shorts that take on a skirt quality, and the debut of the mother's shadow shadow. Love you mom.... So! I'll let you wander. Go out and explore! Paint! Enjoy! It's a sunny Tuesday. The wind has calmed since yesterday(when these pictures were taken.) I hate the wind. I hate how it groans, and moans, and howls. Anyways, if you knew me, you'd know how terribly afraid of the wind I am, and you'd also know that I just hate conversations about the weather... Did you know that if there was no change in the weather, 1 in 2 people would have nothing to talk about?? Aha!! I am feeling full of laughter, and contentment. It's a good day to be aliiiiiiiiiiive!

Now, I am listening to music. Enjoying life. Thinking of tomorrow, when I should be thinking of today..... kisses to you, hope it's sunny and wind-less where you are :)

the plans they made put an end to you..

As I type this, I am looking out into an ocean of snow. Yesterday, the weather was sunny and fair. Today, my luck has not been with me. I am writing to you at 7:09 in the morning, but allow me to reason why I am here so early. The reason? I just could not sleep. I awoke in a sheet of hotness, and sweat. Within minutes of the disturbance in my sleep pattern, I decided to get out of bed. So here I am. I would love to watch the sunrise on a lovely spring day, but it's January all year apparently.

I won't be bothered by this turn in weather. Yesterday, I took a break, and went out exploring in the sun. So I am glad. I have been feeling bursts of creativity and in order to quench my thirst for art, I draw and play electric piano. I can play two Kate Nash songs now, and I feel very very proud. Maybe one day, I will show you..

On another note, My camera cord should be here tomorrow. Canada Post doesn't deliver on weekends, so I've been stuck here waiting for a week day... hmm.. I never thought I'd find time to look forward to a week day, ever....I am late in delivering the following outfit pictures to you. They are from 2 weeks ago. Another day, Another adventure.

I have lots of other photographs to share, as always, and I can't wait. For now, I'm going to leave some questions for you to answer. As you know, I never got to visit Forever 21 this weekend because I ended up being stuck in Grande Prairie. I am glad though, because I now have time to work and make more money so that I can afford clothes! Anyways, here are the questions. What is your favorite pair of jeans? What jeans would you recommend? What stores would you recommend for jeans? I am on the hunt(yeah as if I was a wolf or a fox).. for a good pair of jeans. It can be wide legged, skinny legged, boot cut, bleached, faded, anything. Whatever you recommend!

Unfortunately, I left the usb cord for my camera in Calgary so I haven't been able to update you with new photo's. The good news is that my dad is going to ship it to me!! So! Hopefully it arrives here soon. I miss all of you...

I'm tired. I've been making music, and a mess all night, but it made me happy, and in life, happiness is the only thing that can possibly matter.

Wow! I miss everyone here. I feel like I've just been neglecting the blog, and my friends. But! Fear not! I am here once again to deliver you outfit photo's, and images from me to you. I went on many adventures this weekend. One of those adventures included a trip to Value Village. I have been saving up for this following weekend when I go to Forever 21, but as you know, I always find things that catch my eye. While at Value Village, I found a red short jumpsuit. I thought it was a dress at first, until I got into the change room and found myself pleasantly surprised. but! I was unpleasantly surprised about a hefty price tag... 15 bucks!!!! Sure, 15 dollars is nothing, but for a simple(yet lovely) jumpsuit that's been worn? yeah right! So I misbehaved and pulled the price tag off. When I went to the till, they thought it was priced $5.99. The more I shop, the savvier I become. I was going pay 15 bucks for a piece of cloth that's already draped someones body! Not a chance.... Anyways, I also left the store with a cheap plaid flannel shirt, and a pair of jean shorts. I can't wait for this weekend! Hello Forever 21! xo

I am looking outside into a splash of sun, and color. I can hear birds chirping, and humming their melodies. I feel harmony. I feel peaceful. Although I was born into the icicles, and shivering temperatures of December, I do feel that I am most certainly a spring girl. Spring brings me warmth, growth, and new beginnings. I am sorry to send you photographs from the colder weeks, but I have been busy, as you know, and I have had little time to update the blog.

So, instead of spending too much time apologizing for the coldness, and frostiness of these photo's... I'm going to just talk about my outfit. I was met with great difficulty when trying to find a way to pull this vest off. For one, (faux)fur is loud, and two, well (faux)fur is loud... I knew it would be a challenge. So, I pulled tops, bottoms, and accessories, from my traveling wardrobe, hoping to find an outfit to be proud of. I had no such luck, until, I was having a messy hair day and had no energy for a shower, so I threw on this headband. After that, I threw on the tights, paired with jean shorts, which is a look I've done several times before... I added the basic boring top, and just lounged around... Until! I saw my vest sitting so lonesome in the corner... I took it and said, hey vest, I know we don't get along always, and it's hard to see myself with you, but I'll let you be my friend for today. And wahla this look was created!!

iiiiiiiii'm back. . .

Good morning to the world! I am back! I really had a magnificent time during my recent trips. It was so nice to take a pause from routine and to try new things. I cannot say to you how rejuvenated I feel. I hope that everyone has been feeling splendid and full of inspiration. I want for each, who feels weak and uncertain, to take a trip. Traveling for me, has been very therapeutic.

More good news!! Our house finally sold. You can't imagine how happy I am. Really! I am so delighted. Of course, it's a bit weird, and a bit sad, to have to say goodbye to a place that holds so much memory and growth. But new beginnings, and change, is essential to having your best possible life, and for finding your best possible self. Look at this world, look at the endless possibilities! I am officially a calgarian, never thought I'd say that.....

With my recent travels, I just haven't been given the chance to look through forever 21 and use my gift card, but soon(I'm hoping..) I'll be able to stalk the racks full of spring dresses, short shorts, floral skirts, and dangling gold necklaces. ;D

It's Tuesday. My tummy is sore, but monthly, this will happen, I'm going to pop an advil, lay back, possibly shower, possibly go for a walk, possibly do nothing. I'm glad to be back. We have lots to talk about !!! love always, and kisses to you !
