You toss all the mornings lost to the clouds and you watch it go




Hello dolls! This is an outfit post meant for yesterday, but I delayed it until today. Why did I do this? Well it's the thirteenth, and the number 13 brings me luck with it's symbolism.. I need all of the luck I can get, but my friends just say I'm crazy.






A happy note, My mom is back! I can say, This house was no home without her, and now that she's here, I can feel the birds chirping more loudly, the sun shining more brightly, and my spirits feeling higher. It's 11 am right now, and my bones are already taking in the heat from the summer sunshine. I am going to frolic outside. Dance with the trees. Carry conversation. Listen to the breeze, and travel to the farmers market!

I hurt the flower.





It's 10:49. I'm yawning. I'm tired, but I feel pensive. I've been feeling restless, restless for a change, restless for a new me. Some would disagree, but, I think sleeping is a skill. Or more, to sleep and to wake up RESTED is a skill. My eyes peer at the clock winding to 2:00, then it's 4:00, then it's 4:30, and the last time the clock sees me, it's 5:20, and the birds are waking up for a new day, as I haven't even finished the day before. Hopefully I'll catch up on sleep soon, and get my rested self back!

Yesterday, I happily watched Almost Famous. It left me feeling chipper(like a bluebird finding a worm), and hopeful(like a child finding her teddy). Such a beautiful movie. The script, the soundtrack, the beautiful people, the costumes, everything brought a smile upon my face. Really, I was showing my teeth through the ENTIRE movie..especially when William was on screen. He is my dream boy. Innocent, but strong, perfect, yet imperfect. Like him, I sit home alone and listen to my records. I dream of meeting bands and telling them my secrets. How nice would it to be to have someone to share such a thing with? "Do you have to be depressed to write a sad song? Do you have to be in love to write a love song? Is a song better when it really happened to you?"

Here are the final outfits I put together wearing garments sent from heaven, a.k.a weardrobe's closet. I am so thankful to Suz, and everyone from weardrobe for all of their blessings, and kind words. I hope to take part in the closet again...( I'm already scouting out my future wish list! )

The romantic in me hasn't left....yet. She's still here, fighting, struggling with her heart, and her loneliness. But! I won't dwell. From your comments, I feel optimism. It's a delight to hear that you can find true love at any age, and from your words, I have gained a spirit in me that whispers "it's worth the wait" :) :)!



In the past few days, a fair fraction of love wishes have come true.. and what I mean by this, is that I've found a boy. a cute boy. a creative boy. a boy who's in a band. a boy who's interesting. I'm just hoping that I can battle my shyness and feel freeeeeeee! Fingers crossed..







On a fashion note, I am very happy with this studded vest, and splattered floral printed skirt I found at Zara! Have you ever found a dress/skirt/garment that screams your name? Well, this skirt does that for me. It defines me, it showcases my love for flowers, and yet, maintains a simplicity which I'm very fond of! The vest on the other hand, brings out a wild unseen side, a side that listens to the rolling stone's "angie" or "beast of burden" and rocks my head from side to side with messy, unkept hair.

Gooooooooooooooooood Thursday dreamers, and saints! I always feel so tickled when I read through your comments, and words. I hope you know, you make me feel so good inside. Want to know what else makes me feel good? Cute boys! Cute boys who talk to you! Yeah! I am a girl. A girl who can't help but love those cute boys. Now, I just need to make one of those "cute" boys "mine".... but how can a girl do that when she's so very shy like me?






I always see these lovers, holding hands, walking through the streets. I look at them. I look through them, and I wonder. What is their story? How did they fall into the arms of love like that? How were they living before one another? Were they really "living"? How did they "find" love? Is it even love? There are many loving lessons, I must learn. And I hope to learn. I know I'm 16, but I still have a heart. A heart that's much too big for me. I hope to find someone to share my heart with, and god knows, I hope they'll share their heart with me too.

Although, I don't have a love to share life with, I can say, I fall in love with my surroundings every day. I fall in love with the sky. I fall in love with the blossoming flowers. I fall in love with the people who greet me, as I walk in the streets alone. I fall in love with the dresses I see, the hats I carry, and the boots that I stomp in. Life is beautiful, and when it's not beautiful, it's a time of growth. We are all flowers, and like flowers, we need rain, and dark and cloudy days, in order to grow, and look radiant on those sun-kissed days......... Thanks for listening! we'll talk to the trees, we'll fly with the wind

Trees wobble and whisper in the wind. Clouds cover and hide the yellow sun. I am happy that it is cool today, or I would regret being stuck indoors. Recent days have been glorious. The sun has shone brighter than the Californian Sky Line. The pale legs came out to play. I have embraced each sun ray and lazied around barefooted in the grass listening to The Zombies, and Ben Taylor. Nothing is as peaceful as the sound of music on an already perfect day. I even made a friend. Life is nice.





I feel the spirit in me that believes in forests, foxes, and trees, comes out to dance when I throw on this $5 vintage coat. There's something so magical about it. It takes me to a place of happiness and pride. So. Today. I am relaxing. Watching the world. Recent days have been busy, and I miss my mom. But, I've grown in the past 2 weeks, and I can't wait to share with you the things I've learned. Expect an overwhelming amount of photographs, and outfits this week... :) :)





My deepest thankfulness, and love, are sent to my kind and dedicated dad. Without him, none of these photographs would have been possible, and I would have missed out on indulging in weardrobe's closet. You see , my photographer also goes by the name "mom", and she had to leave for an adventure regarding work. So, I was stuck without a photographer, and left feeling blue.. But! the dad came to the rescue, and took hundreds and hundreds of photographs. My heart went from blue, to yellow :)




I am so in love with life. All I need is a cute boy to skip with, and I'll feel at peace. Kisses!
